Story still continues in Van for the earthquake victims. Tough season brings more needs every day to the victims of the earthquake and help keeps going to the region. We have started a fundraising for the earthquake victims in Van as soon as we heard the news. First, we would like to thank all who contributed to our fundraising and wanted to help. At the beginning of the fundraising ATA NV board of directors agreed on a decision to give total of the funds directly to a solid project. We have been communicating with different groups and getting information on how they are planning to use the total funds for the victims. From Atlanta GA, we have contacted Ms. Mona Tekin Diamond (Turkish Honorory Consul General for Georgia, Chairperson for American Turkish Friendship Council) and asked her further information about fundraising which ATFC started nationwide in the USA. After getting all the info, ATA NV made a decision on participating ATFC's meaningful efforts on Van Earthquake Fundraising. ATFC has raised more than $20.000 until today and there will be more fundraising at the beginning of 2012. All funds will be used directly for the victims in Van. What we like about this project is that money will be used to rebuild or repair a school and/or dormitory in the earthquake region. ATA NV
